Unibap, a high-tech company offering advanced solutions for Edge and Cloud Computing in space, has received Authorization to Proceed (ATP) for the second batch of its SpaceCloud® iX5 solutions. The ATP will allow Unibap to begin production preparations to meet the delivery schedule requested by the customer. The full contract is worth 6.2 MEUR, with the second batch valued at 2.25 MEUR. The ATP covers 10% of this value. Deliveries for the second batch are scheduled from Q3'24 to Q1'25.

Unibap AB has received a new order worth 456 kEUR from Italian space company D-Orbit, with deliveries set for 2024 and services extending over the next two years. This follows successful missions using Unibap's SpaceCloud® on D-Orbit's ION Satellite Carrier. The partnership between the two companies, established in 2021, has resulted in the creation of a cloud platform for high-performance data analytics computing and storage capabilities in space. Unibap's SpaceCloud® iX5 will be used in D-Orbit's future missions. The collaboration has also demonstrated the efficacy of Unibap's Open Platform Computing, with over 40 in-orbit demonstrations of third-party software applications.

Unibaps israeliska kund har beslutat att avsluta ett pågående kvalificeringsprojekt, ett beslut som inte är kopplat till Unibaps prestationer utan till den rådande situationen. Trots detta kommer Unibap att se en positiv effekt på sin nettoomsättning på 1 MSEK under första kvartalet 2024.
