Miris Holding Expands to Alaska with Strategic Investment

Miris Holding, a leader in human milk analysis, has achieved a significant milestone by expanding its presence to Alaska. Thanks to a strategic investment supported by the Alaska INBRE program, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the University of Alaska Fairbanks has acquired the first Miris HMA® device in the region. This acquisition is part of the university's One Health project, which aims to address health disparities among Alaska's indigenous populations.

The One Health project is a multidisciplinary initiative focusing on improving health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities across Alaska. By integrating the Miris HMA® into their research, the University of Alaska Fairbanks can enhance its studies in cold climate, environmental science, and indigenous studies, ultimately contributing to better health solutions for the region.

The initial order, valued at approximately 550,000 SEK, is set to be delivered in February, with estimated annual revenues of around 15,000 SEK. This investment not only signifies a new market for Miris Holding but also strengthens its commitment to improving global health outcomes.
